Paterson, Clifton, and the City of Passaic hold some of the state's most vibrant church communities — in English and Spanish alike. Whether the step you are taking today is voluntary or required, this program meets you with the same conviction: your anger is both a habit that can be retrained and a heart matter worth bringing before God. As Scripture puts it:

"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath."— Ephesians 4:26

Every session is delivered live and one-on-one by secure video — no group circles, no commuting to an office, no waiting rooms. Sessions are scheduled around work, family, and church life, seven days a week including evenings and weekends. The curriculum pairs each clinical skill with its scriptural foundation: catching the body’s God-given warning signs (James 1:19), releasing long-carried grievances (Romans 12:19; Matthew 18), replacing accusation with curiosity (Matthew 7; 1 Corinthians 13), and rebuilding trust through fruit over time (Galatians 5:22-23) — alongside the full clinical core of HALT self-checks, stress management, communication skills, and relapse prevention.

Two Doors, One Program in Passaic County

Coming Voluntarily — No Court Involved

No referral needed and no legal matter required. Many Passaic County clients enroll for a marriage, for their family, at a pastor’s suggestion, or out of personal conviction. Your program is completely private and judgment-free — one phone call starts it, and everything is built around your schedule, evenings and weekends included.

Court, Probation & Attorney-Referred

If a court, probation officer, or attorney requires anger management, you can satisfy the requirement here without giving up the faith-centered approach. Programs are structured and session-documented, enrollment confirmation is available quickly, and a professional, clinician-signed Completion Letter is issued at the end. Tell us your required session count and we match it precisely.

Note for court-related clients: the faith-based curriculum changes nothing about your documentation. Enrollment confirmation and your clinician-signed Completion Letter remain standard, professional, and strictly factual — appropriate for any court or supervising officer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a court order to enroll from Passaic County?

No. Voluntary, self-referred clients are a large part of this program — no court involvement, no referral, and complete privacy. One phone call starts it.

Will courts and probation accept this program?

Our anger management programs are widely accepted, session-documented, and matched to your specific required session count, with enrollment confirmation available quickly and a clinician-signed Completion Letter at the end. If your court has specific conditions, call us and we will confirm the fit before you enroll.

Are sessions really one-on-one and remote?

Always. Every session is live and individual by secure video — never a group, never pre-recorded — scheduled seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, in English or Spanish.

Is the faith content required?

No — the Christian track is chosen by you. The same program is available in a standard format, and your court documentation is identical either way: professional and strictly factual.

New Jersey Anger Management Group provides educational anger management programming by remote telehealth. The practice is attorney-founded but is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation. The Christian faith-based track is an optional curriculum format chosen by the client; it is educational in nature and is not psychotherapy, pastoral counseling, or a substitute for either. Court and probation acceptance is determined by the individual court, judge, or supervising officer; we encourage confirming specific requirements with the referring authority, and we gladly assist with that confirmation. In a crisis, call 988 or 911.
