What Court-Ordered DV Classes Actually Cost in New Jersey

ATTORNEY-FOUNDED  •  COURT-ACCEPTED  •  IDENTITY-VERIFIED

Our price is on the page — $1,000, plans from $150 down — because hiding the number wastes your time and ours.

Accepted by courts and probation departments in New Jersey — and used to satisfy court requirements in New York and Pennsylvania.

The Market, Honestly

Court-referred batterers intervention programs in the region commonly charge an intake fee plus a weekly group
fee — frequently totaling $1,100–$1,500 over a 26–28 week program, paid week by week, at fixed
group times you attend whether or not your shift allows it. Low-cost and free programs exist, typically nonprofit
or agency-run — and they come with the costs no one prints: waitlists while your compliance clock runs,
daytime-only groups, travel every single week for six months, and zero flexibility when work or childcare collides
with group night.

Our Price — Flat, Printed, Final

$1,000 paid in full, everything included: intake assessment, all 26 weekly modules, individual sessions,
identity verification, enrollment letter, status reports, Certificate of Completion, and the detailed Completion
Letter. Payment plans: $300 down + 3×$300 ($1,200 total) or $150 down + 6×$215 ($1,440 total). No
registration surprises, no per-letter charges, no fee to send your PO a status report. The number on this page is
the number.

One rule worth knowing before you comparison-shop on price alone: a cheap certificate a court rejects is the
most expensive one you can buy — you pay twice and lose the months. Whatever you choose, choose a program
whose documentation survives the person reading it.

🔐 Identity-Verified Completion

Every enrollee provides a copy of a state or national ID at intake and verifies identity with each weekly
submission. When your probation officer or the court asks who actually did the work, the answer is documented
26 times over. This is the standard online programs should have been held to all along — ours is.

Founded by a Retired New Jersey Family & Criminal Law Attorney

The program was founded by Santo V. Artusa, Jr., J.D., C.A.M.T. — a retired New Jersey
family law and criminal law attorney and clinician executive with more than 15 years inside the same courts
this program serves, including years as a public defender in Jersey City. He has sat at counsel table for the
restraining order hearing, the plea cutoff, and the probation review. That is why the documentation is written
the way courts actually read it — and why lawyers and litigants trust it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why not just use a free program?

If a free program fits your schedule, has no waitlist against your deadline, and your court accepts it — use it. Our enrollees are generally people for whom one of those three failed: they work when groups meet, they cannot wait weeks to start, or they want documentation built for scrutiny.

Are there any fees beyond the printed price?

A $100 re-entry fee applies only if you are administratively withdrawn for extended non-payment or inactivity and later restart. Enrollment letters, status reports, and completion documentation are included — always.

Will my court or probation officer accept this program?

The program is accepted by courts and probation departments in New Jersey, and has been used to satisfy court requirements in New York and Pennsylvania. Every order is different — send us your paperwork or your probation officer’s contact information and we confirm acceptance before you enroll.

How much does the program cost?

$1,000 paid in full. Payment plans: $300 down plus 3 payments of $300 ($1,200 total), or $150 down plus 6 payments of $215 ($1,440 total). Payments auto-charge every 4 weeks, and program access pauses if a payment is more than 3 days past due.

Is the program really online? How does that satisfy a court order?

Weekly modules and written assignments are completed online on your schedule; intake, mid-program, and discharge sessions are live individual video sessions with program staff. Identity is verified at intake and with every weekly submission, and your court or probation officer receives an enrollment letter within 24 hours and status reports on request.
