Professional Workplace Conduct Course

A Structured, Documented Conduct Intervention for Your Employees

When a valued employee’s behavior becomes a liability, your organization needs more than a verbal warning. NJ Anger Management Group provides a private, one-on-one Professional Workplace Conduct Course — attorney-founded, fully documented from intake to completion, and designed to correct the behavior while protecting your organization.

The Problem You’re Solving

A problem employee doesn’t stay a problem for just themselves. They affect coworkers, clients, customers, and the culture of your entire team. Verbal warnings get ignored. Write-ups get forgotten. And termination costs you a trained employee, triggers potential wrongful termination claims, and costs $15,000–$30,000 to recruit and train a replacement. The PWCC is the documented middle ground — a structured corrective intervention that gives the employee a real chance to change while building the paper trail that protects your organization either way.

How It Works — From First Contact to Completion

Every organizational engagement follows the same clear, documented process. Your HR team will know exactly where the employee is at every stage.

1

Organizational Point of Contact

Your HR director, legal counsel, or supervisor calls us directly at (201) 205-3201. This initial conversation is confidential. We discuss the employee’s situation, the conduct concerns, what you need documented, and which program length is appropriate. We answer every question before anything begins. Most initial calls take 15–20 minutes. You’ll know exactly what to expect and exactly what it costs before we move forward.

2

PWCC Organizational Intake

We send your organization our PWCC Intake Form — a structured assessment completed by the referring supervisor or HR representative. This is the foundation of the entire program and ensures our facilitator understands exactly what needs to be addressed.

Employee Information

Name, role, department, tenure, supervisor contact. Basic profile to establish context.

Areas of Concern

Specific behaviors that triggered the referral — interpersonal conflict, insubordination, customer complaints, communication breakdowns, policy violations.

Areas of Great Concern

Escalated or repeated behaviors that pose higher risk — threats, intimidation, aggressive outbursts, harassment complaints, patterns of conduct that could expose the organization to legal liability.

Organizational Goals

What success looks like for your organization — behavioral changes expected, timeline for improvement, specific outcomes the program should target. We calibrate the program to YOUR goals, not a generic template.

3

Enrollment Confirmation

Once the intake is complete and the program fee is arranged, we issue a formal Enrollment Confirmation Letter — sent directly to your HR team or legal counsel. This letter documents that the employee has been enrolled in a structured conduct intervention program and is actively participating. This document can be placed in the employee’s HR file immediately, demonstrating that the organization took corrective action — a critical element if future disciplinary action or termination becomes necessary.

4

Private One-on-One Sessions

The employee completes sessions privately and one-on-one with their facilitator — by phone or video, on a schedule that works around their work obligations. This is not a group class. This is not a webinar. This is individualized, interactive work focused specifically on the behaviors identified in the intake. Sessions address anger regulation, professional communication, conflict resolution, boundary recognition, accountability, and whatever specific areas the intake identified.

5

Progress Communication

Your HR team stays informed throughout the process. We provide updates on attendance, engagement, and progress — without disclosing the confidential content of sessions. You’ll know whether the employee is showing up, putting in the work, and moving toward the behavioral goals you set in the intake. If there are concerns about participation or progress, we communicate those early — not at the end.

6

Completion Documentation

Upon successful completion, we issue a formal Completion Letter — sent to your HR team, legal counsel, or the employee directly as you direct. This letter documents the employee’s full participation and successful completion of the program. Combined with the Enrollment Confirmation and progress communications, you now have a complete documented record of corrective action — the kind of paper trail that protects your organization in any future employment matter.

What Makes This Different

Most workplace conduct training is a generic group seminar that checks a box but changes nothing. An employee sits in a room with 30 coworkers, watches a PowerPoint about harassment, signs an attendance sheet, and goes back to the same behavior on Monday. That’s not what this is.

Attorney-Founded

Directed by Santo V. Artusa Jr., J.D. — 15+ years in NJ criminal and family law. The documentation carries legal weight because it was designed by someone who understands what holds up.

Private One-on-One

Every session is individual. The employee’s situation is addressed specifically — not as part of a generic group. Real behavioral change requires personal attention.

Customized to Your Intake

The program is calibrated to the specific behaviors and goals YOUR organization identified. No two programs are the same because no two employees are the same.

Fully Documented

Enrollment confirmation, progress updates, and completion letter. A complete paper trail that demonstrates corrective action at every stage.

Flexible Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled around the employee’s work obligations — mornings, lunch, evenings, weekends. No disruption to your operations.

Confidential

Session content is confidential between the employee and facilitator. Your organization receives attendance and progress reports — not session transcripts. This encourages genuine engagement.

Program Options

Program length is determined by the severity of the conduct concern and the organizational goals identified in the intake. We recommend the appropriate length during the initial call.

4–6 Sessions

Standard intervention for communication issues, minor interpersonal conflicts, first-time referrals. Covers core conduct and anger regulation skills.

8–10 Sessions

Extended intervention for repeated incidents, customer-facing conduct problems, documented patterns, or management-level employees. Deeper behavioral work with accountability planning.

12–16 Sessions

Comprehensive program for serious conduct concerns, harassment-related referrals, employees on final warning, or executive-level interventions. Full curriculum with long-term behavioral plan.

Volume & Ongoing Partnerships

Ongoing Organizational Partnerships

For organizations that anticipate referring multiple employees over time, we offer an ongoing partnership structure with volume considerations. After the first employee completes the program successfully, we discuss a partnership framework that works for your budget and your team. One point of contact. One trusted provider. Consistent documentation standards. No need to vet a new program every time a conduct issue arises.

How Volume Partnerships Work

Your first employee completes the program at our standard rate. After that successful completion, we establish a partnership rate for ongoing referrals — providing your organization with a consistent, reliable resource for conduct interventions at a predictable cost. The more your organization invests in corrective action, the more cost-effective it becomes. One relationship. One provider. Complete documentation every time.

Program Fee

Program fees are determined by the number of sessions and the complexity of the intake. We provide an exact quote during the initial call — no surprises, no hidden costs. Fees are due in two payments: half at enrollment and the remaining balance within 30 days. For ongoing partnerships, we offer flexible billing arrangements. Call (201) 205-3201 for a confidential quote.

Industries We Serve Across New Jersey

Every industry faces unique conduct challenges. We’ve built PWCC programs that address the specific dynamics of each sector — because a kitchen blow-up and a boardroom blow-up require different approaches even though the underlying skills are the same.

Protect Your Organization. Keep Your Talent.

The cost of a documented conduct intervention is a fraction of what it costs to terminate, recruit, and retrain. The cost of NOT documenting corrective action when a conduct issue arises can be measured in wrongful termination claims, hostile work environment lawsuits, and EEOC complaints. The PWCC gives you both: a genuine effort to correct the behavior AND the documented record that protects your organization regardless of the outcome. One call starts the process.

Start the Conversation

Confidential. No obligation. We’ll discuss your situation, recommend a program length, and give you an exact quote — all in one call.
