For Probation Officers: DVIP Program & Reporting Overview
A 26-week, identity-verified batterers intervention program with reporting built for supervision files.
Program & Reporting Overview for Supervising Officers
This page is the program’s capabilities sheet, written for your file. The Domestic Violence Intervention
Program (DVIP) is a 26-week batterers intervention and accountability program operated by New Jersey Anger
Management Group with documentation issued under Behavioral Concepts and Advancement.
Program Structure
- 26 weekly psychoeducational modules — drip-locked, one per week; the program cannot be accelerated.
- A written accountability assignment submitted and reviewed every week — 26 dated submissions per enrollee.
- Live individual sessions with program staff by secure video: intake assessment, mid-program review, discharge evaluation.
- Curriculum covering accountability, power and control, belief systems supporting abusive behavior, effects on partners and children, communication, and relapse prevention.
Identity Verification
Government-issued ID is collected at intake and identity is re-verified with each weekly submission. The
participation record ties the enrollee named in your order to the work performed — every week.
Reporting to Your Office
- Enrollment letter within 24 hours of enrollment, identifying the enrollee, program structure, and start date.
- Status reports on request — modules completed, assignments submitted, sessions attended, and account standing, typically same-day.
- Non-compliance visibility: if an enrollee’s participation or payment lapses, program access
pauses and their status reflects “not current” — reported accurately whenever you inquire. - Completion documentation: Certificate of Completion plus a detailed Completion Letter describing
the full program record, issued when the program and balance are complete.
Questions about a specific enrollee or the program generally: call (929) 788-6382 or text
(201) 205-3201. We answer officer inquiries directly and promptly.
🔐 Identity-Verified Completion
Every enrollee provides a copy of a state or national ID at intake and verifies identity with each weekly
submission. When your probation officer or the court asks who actually did the work, the answer is documented
26 times over. This is the standard online programs should have been held to all along — ours is.

Founded by a Retired New Jersey Family & Criminal Law Attorney
The program was founded by Santo V. Artusa, Jr., J.D., C.A.M.T. — a retired New Jersey
family law and criminal law attorney and clinician executive with more than 15 years inside the same courts
this program serves, including years as a public defender in Jersey City. He has sat at counsel table for the
restraining order hearing, the plea cutoff, and the probation review. That is why the documentation is written
the way courts actually read it — and why lawyers and litigants trust it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly do you respond to officer status inquiries?
Typically same-day. Status reports include modules completed, assignments submitted, individual sessions attended, and whether the enrollee is current.
What happens when an enrollee stops participating or paying?
Program access pauses after a lapse and the enrollee’s status becomes “not current” — we report status accurately whenever your office inquires, and extended lapses result in administrative withdrawal, also reported.
How do I verify a certificate or letter presented to your program’s name?
Call or text us with the enrollee name and document date and we confirm authenticity directly against our records.
